The little corpse was found floating in human feces. The little body of Dolores Gabriel, rescued from a latrine, was wrapped in a rag, covered with maggots. The newborn was light brown, beautiful, and well-formed, according to witnesses. 

 

Dolores Gabriel would have been 13 years old. He was not able to meet his siblings, or hug his mother or grandparents.

 

At birth, his mother threw him into the latrine, where he agonized for 15 minutes. An autopsy revealed that he had been born alive, breathed and then died of asphyxia and exsanguination. The airway was obstructed with feces and the umbilical cord had been torn off at the base.

 

Is this what they call a miscarriage? Obstetric complication?

 

Manuela, Dolores Gabriel's mother, whose real name is Maria Edis Hernandez, was a poor, illiterate woman with three children. Her husband had emigrated to the USA. She became pregnant by another man. 

 

The young woman had an out-of-hospital delivery. She was rushed to the hospital where she gave different, inconsistent and implausible versions of the events. Relatives gave statements that disagreed with Manuela's versions. The body of the little victim was found.

She was tried and sentenced to 40 years in prison for the murder of her son. 

 

The trial:

 

Manuela was later found to have terminal lymphatic cancer. She died in prison two years after the crime. 

 

Salvadoran pro-abortionists were looking for a cause, a victim, a justification to legalize abortion in our country.  They reviewed the maternal mortality figures after the criminalization in 1997. Maternal deaths had decreased. 

 

They asked if there were any women in prison for abortion. There were none. The penalty for induced abortion is 2-8 years, however, judges give them alternative sentences instead of sending them to prison.

 

They had no elements to advance their plans, until .....

 

During their inquiries, the abortionists discovered that there were women with long sentences for aggravated homicide against their newborn children. 

 

The children had been stabbed, stoned, strangled, suffocated or thrown in latrines. 

 

The so-called human rights defenders decided to reinvent the facts. They would claim that poor women in El Salvador were being sentenced to up to 50 years in prison for "miscarriages".

 

Nine-month spontaneous abortions? ABSURD!!!! When you have the support of powerful international "human rights" abortionist organizations, a lot of foreign money, and a massive propaganda campaign orchestrated by the hegemonic media, any nonsense becomes “truth”. 

 

Thus, the "17+" campaign was born.  Thus was born the justification for legalizing abortion. It matters not that none of these cases has any relation to the crime of abortion, nor the cruelty of the crimes committed against these babies.

 

El Salvador faces a trial before the Inter-American Court of Human Rights for having convicted Manuela of aggravated homicide and because she died while in prison. 

 

The abortionists hope that the court will 'order' the country to legalize abortion. They also demand compensation for Manuela's family, despite the fact that her mother was suspected of complicity in the execution of the crime. They also demand compensation for their organizations. 

 

This ruling will be applicable to all member states. It is THAT dangerous. El Salvador must show the truth and refuse to abide by any ruling contrary to justice, the right to life and our Constitution.
